St Joseph's Catholic College is a Broken Bay Diocesan school for girls providing a Catholic Secondary education in Years 7 to 12 for student’s resident in the parishes of East Gosford-Mangrove, Kincumber, North Gosford & Wyoming, Terrigal & Erina, Woy Woy & Umina.

Established by the Sisters of St Joseph in the tradition of St Mary MacKillop almost 50 years ago, St Joseph’s Catholic College provides a learning community for young women that is empowering, caring and safe.

The proactive nature of pastoral care at St Joseph’s builds positive relationships and enhances self esteem so our girls become resilient confident young women.

Our school community is built upon the core values of justice, compassion, hope, and respect. This is the essence of our Christian faith in our Catholic tradition; it too is the basis of the rich Josephite tradition to which the school belongs.

St Joseph’s Catholic College motto is Act Justly. Accordingly, we offer the students a variety of leadership experiences including social justice activities such as ‘young St Vincent de Paul’ and involvement in the activities of the MacKillop foundation.

Educational research clearly shows that girls achieve best in a single sex learning environment. This is supported by the consistently high standard of HSC results achieved by our girls.

St Joseph’s is committed to providing our students with a holistic education. Our extensive extra curricular program includes a wide range of sports, drama, dance, musicals and discos with St Edward’s Christian Brothers, debating, mock trial, choir, bands, Duke of Edinburgh.
