Associated Schools

St Joseph's

Welcome

I welcome your interest in pursuing an education at St Joseph's School Port Lincoln.

Since the initial establishment of St Joseph's School in 1874, many families
on the Lower Eyre Peninsula have enjoyed an association with the school community.

Each generation has contributed to and benefited from an 'Education for Life'; an education in the spirit and tradition of Mary MacKillop and St Joseph where Faith, Hope and Love are the hallmarks of learning.

The R-12 nature of the school provides a familiar learning environment where continuity of learning is able to be realised.  The dynamic nature of education is visible in the variety of learning experiences provided across the curriculum for R-12 students.

The opportunity for residential living for boarding students from Year 8-12 adds a significant dimension to the school, enabling close connections with those families geographically isolated on the Eyre Peninsula. The boarding house experience provides life long connections and friendships in addition to developing interdependence and responsibility.

Education at St Joseph's aims to encounter and engage the whole person, hence the curriculum and pastoral care provided reflects the needs of a wide range of student abilities and interests.

St Joseph's welcomes families who seek a Catholic education in the spirit and tradition of St Joseph and Mary MacKillop and who wish to continue their family tradition and association with St Joseph's School.

The following information gives details of many aspects of life at St Joseph's. If you require additional information, I invite you to contact the Principals Personal Assistant, Dianne Drennan.
